  • Sad to see California in such disarray. Grew in Califonia, spending 10 years in the Bay Area and 8 in San Diego. I left California in 1999 for college in Texas and never looked back. Simple reality is that the cost of living is insane due to a perfect storm of different variables.

  • Wrong cintelect. You aren't going to be paying higher taxes. Remember that the Obama plan calls for lowering the taxes of 95% of Americans while raising the taxes of the upper 5%.

  • The problem is that the consumer (in this case the government) has to get something back of value, and employment for the sake of employement, (unfortunately) isn't something of value.
